Oveda Nancy Whedbee, 64 years, 2 months, and 18 days old, passed away on, September 11, 2026, at her home in Ava, Missouri.

On June 23, 1962, Oveda was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, to John Lewis and Barbara Jo (Fulford) Morrison.

Oveda had a career in medical billing in Daytona Beach for several years.

She married Roger Dale Whedbee on April 19, 1981, in Daytona Beach. Their life together was filled with shared joy until Roger's passing in 2024.

Oveda had a passion for crafting and sewing, and she cherished the company of her beloved cats.

Oveda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger, in 2024.

She leaves behind her sister, Myrtice Poore, her brother, Walter Morrison, her niece, Michelle, her great-nephew, Derrick Pinckney as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Her close friends Michael, Cassie, and Hadley Dancause also survive her.

The graveside services will be Friday, October 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Arno Cemetery, officiated by Cassie Dancause. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ozark’s Pet Rescue or Sweet Pea House Farms would be appreciated, honoring Oveda’s love for animals.
