OWEN MATTHEW HAMBELTON
Owen Matthew Hambelton, 83, of Caulfield, MO passed away on January 23, 2013 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. He was born on January 27, 1929 in Gainesville, MO the son of Alva Vern Hambelton and Ruth Ellen Strong Hambelton.
Mr. Hambelton graduated from Gainesville High School and traveled west, he met and married Donna Dinoist and remained there for several years. He had two sons, Danny and Ruste Hambelton.
Survivors include Danny and wife Ella and children who live in Eagle Butts, South Dakota, Ruste and wife Dawn and their children and grandchildren of Tellico, TN; three brothers Ray and wife Vonda of Sparta, MO, John of Bridgeton, MO and Jim and wife Linda of Gainesville, MO; sister-in-law Elma Hambelton; two uncles Irvon and Birvon Strong; nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his parents, Alva and Ruth Hambelton; two brothers Onard and Joe Hambelton; and one sister Ruby Stover.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Bro. Jeff Dotson officiating. Burial will be in the Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from Noon to service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Patrick Cemetery.
