Patricia Ann Ford of Gainesville passed away Sunday, May 22, at Wilson Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Springfield MO. after a long illness. She was 69 years old.

Patricia was born in Blytheville, AR Dec. 9, 1946, and moved with her parents and younger siblings, Donna and Garry to Mountain Home in 1957. She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1964.

Patricia, or Pat, married David Ford of Gainesville April 30, 1966 and the two settled on a farm just east of town where they raised their two boys, Leslie and Brian. Pat worked in the family businesses of Ford Market and David Ford Bookkeeping and Tax Services. Pat and David were long-time members of Gainesville Church of Christ. Pat was a loving mother, known for her smiling face, laughter, and friendliness to all. She loved shopping, travelling, and generally having fun with her family and many friends.

Pat was proceeded in death by her parents, Hershell and Olivia Brazeal of Mountain Home, her husband David, and her mother-in-law Glenda Ford of Gainesville. She is survived by her sons Les and Brian of Springfield, Les' wife Susan and their children Haley, Luke, Sophia, and Grace, sister Donna Teague of Clarksridge AR, brother Garry Brazeal of Mountain Home, step-mother Tressie Brazeal of Mountain Home, and step-brother Roger Donahue of Rogersville, MO.

Pat was a jovial soul who will be remembered fondly and missed greatly by all who knew her.


Funeral Services for Patricia will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with burial at Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Halbert Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
