Patricia "Pat" Long

Ava, Missouri

Patricia Jean Long, 81 years, 8 months, 1 day old, passed away on July 5, 2021 at her home with her husband and son by her side.

Pat was born November 4, 1939 in Ava, MO at her family's home of Olen and Geneva (Turner) Hodges.

On January 17, 1959 Pat and George Long were united in marriage at Ava, MO and were blessed with a son, Keith.

Pat was a Christian and was of the General Baptist faith. She was retired from working with her husband at Long's Sign Service for many years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bowhunting, fishing, farming and trips to Colorado with her family. She loved her family!

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Eldon and Don Hodges.

She is survived by her husband, George and her son, Keith, two nieces, Debbie Hall and Nancy Pellham and their families, other relatives and friends.

Cremation services for Pat are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO per her wishes. Burial of her cremains will be in the Union Grove Cemetery at a later date near her family.
