Patrick Carl Lyons, 65 years, 7 months, and 28 days old, departed this life on July 23, 2012 at his home in Theodosia.

Pat was born November 26, 1946 in Brown Branch, MO to Gerald and Gertrude (Whitaker) Lyons.

Pat had worked for Frazier Brothers and Southern Construction as a mechanic until an injury ended his work career.

Pat and Sharon Lyons were companions for thirty years. Pat enjoyed building motors and restoring vehicles. He liked going to stock car and drag races and going to garage sales. Pat enjoyed sucker grabbing and spending time with friends and family.

Pat was preceded in death by his Parents


Pat is survived by his wife and companion, Sharon Lyons, Theodosia, MO, step children, Angela Harley and friend Tony Bond, Galena, MO, Crissy Jennings and husband Michael, Kissee Mills, MO, Melissa Jennings and friend Bill Linenbrink, Thornfield, MO, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, a brother Joe Lyons, Azle, TX, nephews Mike and Matthew Lyons, Azle, TX, Aunts Nona Walker, Richland, WA, and Sarah Owens and husband Rich of Mtn. Home AR, an Uncle Pat Lyons, Las Vegas,NV, and many cousins and friends.


Funeral services for Patrick will be Friday, July 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, with burial in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, from 10:00 a.m. to Service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Dalton. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus or the Bethel Cemetery
