Patsy Dobbs

Patsy Lee Dobbs, 74 years, 7 months, 7 days old went to her Heavenly home on, May 20, 2018.

Patsy was born October 13, 1943 in Evans, MO in Douglas County to Willard W. and Frances Mae (Shelton) Coonts.

Patsy was retired from working at Emerson/Copeland Co. in Ava.

On July 31, 1964 Patsy and Donald Dobbs were united in marriage at Kansas City, MO and were blessed with four children.

Patsy was a Christian and attended with Don the Evansdale Community Church. Patsy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed Royals Baseball and Chiefs Football. She also enjoyed calling her friends and family, especially when they were in need. Her pride and joy was her four grandchildren. She always looked forward to reading her precious paper, the Douglas County Herald.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Sean Dobbs, a brother W.D. Coonts, two sisters, Lena Gerdts and Shelia Coonts.

She is survived by her husband, Don of Ava, three children, Carla Dobbs, Ava, Kelly Carlson and husband, Brent, Ozark, MO and Scottie "Bo" Dobbs, Ava, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Dobbs Menzies,

four grandchildren, Samantha, Seth, Abbey, and Casey Dobbs, two sisters, Beverly Sue Jones, and Judy Shepard both of Kansas City, MO, a special aunt, Ruby Hopper, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Patsy will be Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Evans Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to service time.
