Paul Gene Dugan, 84 years, 7 months, 26 days old, passed away on June 3, 2017 at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, MO.

Paul was born October 7, 1932 in Long Lane, Missouri to Floyd Erving Dugan (paw John), and Reba Nixie (Nimmo) Dugan.

Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, Lavern "Sid and Floyd Ivan Dugan, one sister Pauline Elizabeth Fry.

Paul and Mary Wanda Clevenger were united in marriage on June 7, 1954 in Buffalo, Missouri and to this union were born three children.


Paul is survived by one brother Burley Lee and Joann Dugan of Long Lane, his wife of 62 years Mary Wanda , three children, Ronnie Dean Dugan and Judy Clough of Strafford, Randy Alan and Susan (Hawkins) Dugan of Dogwood, and Pam Aldrich (Dugan) of Seymour. Four grandchildren Brandon Scott Dugan of Springfield, Holly LeAnn (Dugan) of Oklahoma, and Cory and Amanda Marie Lawrence (Aldrich) of Marshfield, and Jennifer Dugan. Three great grandchildren Mikaeja Louise, Isabella Rose, and Daisy Olivia Joy Neely of Oklahoma. Two step grandchildren, Ronnie Hawkins and Casey Anderson (Hawkins) of Springfield. One great great step grandchild Henry Walter Scott Anderson of Springfield. As well as a host of other friends and relatives.

Paul enjoyed wood splitting, playing music on his electric bass and acoustic guitars, helping neighbors, milking cows, and working with Eutah Lakey. Paul was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.


Funeral services for Paul will be Thursday, June 8, 2017, visitation at 9:00am and service at 10:00 am at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava Missouri. Burial will be at 2:30 in Cedar Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Long Lane, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Huskey.
