Paul E. Gifford
Paul E. Gifford the son of Charles Gifford and Mary (Keele) Gifford was born Sept. 19, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah and departed this life Jan. 1, 2009 at the age of 72 years 3 months and 12 days.
Paul was a resident of Ava for the past 6 months moving here from Mtn. Grove, Missouri. Paul was employed as a carpenter in home construction.
Paul enjoyed Fishing and carpentry.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Tim, two bothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by two sons, Charles Gifford, AR, Kenneth Gifford, Iowa and one daughter, Cindy Tate, Ava, MO, two grandchildren Brandi and Tyler of Ava, and a great grandchild Aidan all of Ava. Other survivors include three sisters, Ellen and Nolan Moody, Long Mont, CO, Clarice and Robert Williams, Periscilla and Gene Bowers, all of Springfield, MO, one brother, Joe and Sharon Keele, Cody, WY, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. On line condolences may be sent to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
