Paul Michael Porter, 18 years, passed on to be with our Heavenly Father July 25, 2016 in Ava, MO.
Paul was born April 2, 1998 in Elgin, Illinois to Paul and Cathleen Porter.
Paul was an exceptional athlete and had a scholarship to play football at Lindenwood University-Belleville in St. Louis. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being with nature.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard W. Hughes, his grandmother, Mary Huisman, and his great grandmother, Rose Corapi.
Paul is survived by his parents, Paul and Cathleen Porter of Ava, a sister, Paige (Porter) Laub and husband Mark, Ava, a grandmother, Ellen Hughes, Prescott AZ, and a niece Ryleigh Laub, Ava, as well as many other family and friends.
Funeral services for Paul will be Thursday, July 28 at 10:00 am at Life Church in Ava. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Ava cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor James Hathcock .
