Willis Paul Uhlmann

Drury, Missouri

Paul Uhlmann, 86 years and 10 months, passed away on October 11, 2025.

On December 11, 1938, Paul was born in Buckhart, Missouri to Walter and Ella (Hurst) Uhlmann.  He had three siblings, Edward, Phyllis, and Shirley.

He was raised in the Gentryville and Drury Communities. Paul was an Ava High School Graduate class of 1957.

Paul and Una Pendergrass were united in marriage and helped raise the kids. As years went along and the family grew he loved to dote on his grandkids, great grandkids and family. Paul was always there for his family.

He was a life long dairy farmer. He loved working on his farm and enjoyed horseback riding, coyote hunting, and playing pitch at the Gentryville Store.

Paul looked forward to seeing all his buddies at the store. He was a true friend.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Edward and Agnes Uhlmann, Phyllis Sparks, and Harley and Shirley Hancock; his ex-wife, Una Pendergrass Uhlmann; grandson, Erec Hambelton; great grandson, Chris Boyd; and nephew, Randy Hancock.

Paul is survived by his granddaughter, Leanna Boyd and her husband, Jeff; step children; LaDena Lambert, Ronnie Lambert, Bruce Lambert, and Kenny Lambert; nieces, Sandy and Armon Stewart, Shila and Todd Currier, Gayla & Philip Chafin, and Paula Hinkle; nephews, Terry & Lisa Sparks and Rick & Loretta Sparks; brother in law, Dwayne L. Sparks; good friends, Sam & Kirby Fossett; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Paul will be Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM  in Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Shumate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Home Cemetery, Drury, MO.  Memorials may be made to Pleasant Home Cemetery.
