Paul Phillip Woolman passed from this life in his home in Conroe, TX on August 14, 2022.
Paul Phillip Woolman was born September 23, 1938, in Evans, Missouri to William Walter and Wilma Mae Wright Woolman. He attended grade school in Lake Spring and High School in Rolla, Missouri. In 1961, Paul met and married Abigail Zarate. They were married for 58 years. Together, they had a blended family of seven children. Paul lived most of his life in Texas but spent much time traveling back to Missouri to visit family. He enjoyed trucks, fishing, country music and loved watching the Houston Astros play baseball. Paul loved his family very much and was always proud of even the smallest accomplishment. If anyone had an ear to listen, he would brag about his children at any given opportunity. During the weekend you could find him at the local flea market. From weed eaters to vehicles, Paul could wheel and deal his way to a bargain and turn around and sell it for a profit. He worked in farming and ranching and then began a long career as a truck driver. Known as "Bulldog" to other truck drivers and to his wife was known as "Bull Puppy". He loved his life on the road and often bragged about his ability to parallel park his truck and trailer. Throughout his life Paul would travel all throughout the United States. From the west to east, north to south he hauled everything from produce to steel. His love for life on the road extended from work life to his personal life. From camping trips, beach trips, mountain trips or holiday trips to see the family, Paul was no stranger to the road. And he always had the best and only directions! Over the last two years his faith became much more important to him. He was baptized in the Finley Creek in Webster County in 2021.
