Paula Lorrine Deckard, 46 years and 7 months passed away on February 8, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.

Paula was born July 8, 1974 in Independence, Missouri.

On October 26, 1996, Paula and James Deckard were united in marriage at Seymour, Missouri and to this union were blessed with four children.

She enjoyed the simple things in life. Paula liked going on long motorcycle rides and spending time on the water. Either at the creek or the lake.  She was known to never forget someone's birthday.  She loved helping people and accepted people for who they were.  She always had an open door.  She also like to draw and color.  She loved most of all spending time with her friends and family, especially the grandchildren.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Shirley Mayberry, sister, Danielle Spencer and a niece, Lucy Renee.

She is survived by her parents, Terry and Patsy Mitchell,  her husband, James, four children, Sara Parish, Rebecca Deyo, Austin Deckard and wife, Abigail and Wyatt Deckard, four grandchildren, Charleigh Deyo, Braedyn Riley, Emberlynn Riley and Mason Deckard, four  siblings and their spouses, Brook and Donald Young, Jamie and Toby Sanders and Timmy and Tammy Moore, father-in-law, James Cornelison and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Paula will be Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Ava.  A visitation will be Friday from 1:00 pm to service time.  Officiating will be Pastor Toby Sanders.  Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.  Due to the spread of Covid-19 we request everyone to wear a mask if attending.  Thank you.
