Pauline Norma Owens, 87, Rolla, MO passed away on December 10, 2010 at the Phelps County Regional Hospital in Rolla, MO. She was born on July 19, 1923 in Zanoni, MO the daughter of Jim and Oma (Strong) Cropper.

On April 2, 1941 she was united in marriage to Flavol A. Owens in Waterloo, IA and to this union one daughter, Charlotte, was born. Pauline worked extremely hard from her youth on, at many jobs, some of which being a homemaker, to a St. John's employee, to a candy store worker, etc. She faithfully followed her late husband, Flavol, to all his jobs located all around the country, as they spent many years in the St Louis area, Springfield/Nixa area, West Plains area, and finally ending her journey near her daughter and granddaughters in Rolla, MO.

Pauline was baptized at an early age and she loved attending and being active in church as she had a strong love for the Lord and sharing her faith with others. In her spare time, she enjoyed many activities such as spending time with her family and her friends, gardening, and cooking to name a few. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and friend who was loved and will be missed by all.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Oma Cropper; her husband Flavol Owens; and three brothers Arvis, J.R., and Ray. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte Pendleton of St James, MO; two granddaughters Marlene Wigginton of Troy, IL and Charlene Pendleton of Waynesville, MO; one great grandson Gabriel Clarke; one brother Leon Forrest of Gravite, AR; and several extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Ball Church of Christ, Dora, MO with Arvil Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Ball Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.
