Randy Otto Caudill

Randy Otto Caudill, 67 years, 9 months, 5 days old, passed away on February 24, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Randy was born May 19, 1950 in Ozark, MO. to the Rev. Wm. Martin and Stella (Maggard) Caudill.

Randy retired from the Springfield public school system maintainance department after working there for 23 years. Before that he had worked at Sentinel wood treating company in Ava where he was a foreman of a barn crew.

Randy was a Christian and was saved at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, and gardening, as well as mushroom hunting.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Melvin and Delbert.

He is survived by two sons, Randy and fiancé Barbara of La Russell, MO, and Ronnie and wife Annetta of Galena, MO, four siblings, Tony Caudill of Springfield, MO, Edna Pruett and husband Bill of Nixa, MO, Carroll Caudill of Chadwick, MO, and Glenda Jost and husband Larry of Greeley, CO, four Grandchildren, three Great Grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services for Randy will be Thursday, March 1st, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Hall Cemetery in Ongo. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor John Mitchell. Memorials may be made to Hall Cemetery in Ongo at the funeral home.
