RANOLD "RON" STOWERS

Ranold "Ron" Frazier Stowers, 75, of Gainesville, MO passed away July 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 7, 1941 in Allen Junction, West Virginia, the son of Ernest Warner and Nancy Ann (Puckett) Stowers.

Ron graduated high school in West Virginia before entering the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, Ron later moved to Las Vegas where he began working for Whittlesea Cab Company (now known as Whittlesea Bell Cab Company). He worked for many years there as the parts manager. He moved to the Ozarks in 2000, and made his home south of Gainesville near Norfork Lake in the Howards Ridge area. Ron loved fishing, his guns, and the outdoors. He was a kind and loving man who just enjoyed life. He was a Christian and was baptized later in his life. He made many friends in the seventeen years he spent here. They, along with his family, will greatly miss him.

Ron is survived by his three children: Randy Stowers, Kelly Slisz and Mickey Stowers; his grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in the Howards Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Ridge General Baptist Church (where Ron attended) and can be left at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
