Ray Frank Walker

July , 6th, 1946 – April 18th, 2012

Ray Frank Walker passed from this life April 18, 2012 at 11:15 pm at his home in Red Wing Minnesota. Born in Bakersfield California, to Claude and Beatrice Walker. The family moved back to the Ozarks when "Frank" was six years of age and Frank continued living in and around the Ozarks most of his life. He was one of those guys that was good at everything. He started a Hay Hauling business at the young age of sixteen; the business was thriving when he was involved in a crippling car accident. Everyone who met Frank loved his sense of humor, he loved to joke and make people laugh. He loved babies, children and animals. He was easy to get along with, but he could give as good as he got. He was very loyal and protective of family and friends, and the best brother a person could ask for. He was a great mechanic and loved fast cars, boxing, fishing and hunting. Frank was a crack shot from the age of six. He brought down his first deer at the age of seven with a 3.06 rifle. He would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need of one or his last cigarette or beer "of which he was very fond". Like everyone, he loved being with friends and family. He loved to play cards, and took pride it the fact that he was the one who taught his nieces and nephews how to play Solitaire, Poker and Gin Rummy. He was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister Joanne. He is survived by his sister and brother in-law Helen and Buddy Johnson of the home, nieces, Shelly Johnson of St. Louise MO, Angie and spouse Mark Pyle of Red Wing Minnesota and Kelly Johnson of St. Louis MO and nephews, Buddy and spouse Tracy Johnson Jr. of St Louis, Wade and spouse Carrie Johnson of Little Rock Arkansas and Jason Johnson of Red Wing Minnesota. Brother Bobby Joe Walker of Springfield MO. Sisters, Marilyn Albers of Seymour MO, Barbra Hacker of Rogersville MO, Margie McGinnis of Springfield MO, Jean Roy of Willard MO. And Many, many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
