Reitha Eldena Forrest

Reitha Eldena Forrest, 94 years, 6 months, and 1 day old, passed away on  August 9, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with her family by her side.

Reitha was born February 8, 1929 in Douglas County, Missouri to Ira Louie and Allie Cordelia (Roberts) Andrews.

On December 16, 1951, Reitha and Jack Forrest were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, Arkansas.

Reitha enjoyed working on the farm when she was able.  She also liked quilting and crocheting.     She was a Christian.

Reitha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack, her son- in-law, Jeffery Brown and seven siblings, Opal Williams, Lorene Bartlett, Bill Andrews, Vernie Andrews, Helen Nelson, Gene Andrews, and Joann Thomas.

She is survived by her children, Ann (Alvin) Morrow, Merl (Vicki) Forrest, Mike (Rachel)  Forrest, Kevin (Kirsten) Forrest, Katrina Brown;     thirteen grandchildren;  many great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Reitha will be Monday, August 14, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.   in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri.  Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 P.M. to service time.  Burial will be in the Sweden Cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn.  Memorials may be made to Sweden Cemetery.
