Richard  Gunter, 85 years, 5 months, and 29 days old, passed away on, August 13, 2022 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri.

Richard was born February 15, 1937 in Ozark County, Missouri to Ellis and Nora Jane (Brickey) Gunter.

Richard enjoyed gardening.  When he was younger, he like to work on the farm with his father, plowing fields, planting corn and milking cows.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; baby sister, Marie Gunter; sister, Fredia Mae Rowe, and brother, Onis Gunter.

Richard is survived by two brothers, Bobby Gunter and Carl "Buck" Gunter; sister, Christine Gunter and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Richard will be Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Souder Cemetery with burial to follow.  Officiating will be E.J. Hampton.  Memorials may be made to Souder Cemetery.
