Richard Albert Simsen, Sr., 68 years, 1 month, and 11 days old, passed away on May 4, 2011 at St.John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, MO.
Richard was born March 24, 1943 in Lakewood, NJ to Albert Herman and Marguerite (Willien) Simsen.
Richard was a resident of the Dora community.
He was retired from being longtime owner of R.A. Simsen & Son Contractors in Lakewood, New Jersey. Richard loved the Ozarks and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald.
Richard is survived by two children, Richard A. Simsen, Jr. and wife, Debbie, Whiting, NJ and Karen Simsen, Knoxville, TN, three grandchildren, Alexander, Grace and Vera, one sister, Marion Folke, Morehead City, NC, a dear friend, Bobbi Collins, West Plains, MO and other relatives and friends.
Cremation services for Richard are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
