Richard Charles Weston
Squires, MO
Richard Charles Weston the son of Charles Weston and Elmina Tinkham was born June 6, 1933 in Massachusetts and departed this life April 28, 2007 in Springfield, MO at the age of 73 years 10 months and 22 days.
Richard was a resident of Squires, MO for the past 1 ½ years moving here from California. He was employed as a sheet metal engineer with Northrop in California for 30 years. Richard was a Veteran and served his country during the Korean Conflict and served with the U.S. Army for 4 years and the Merchant Marines for 4 years.
Richard was a Christian and attended the Highway Church of the Nazarene. He loved his family dearly and thoroughly enjoyed fishing.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David. He is survived by one son, Robert Stokes and wife, Careen, Squires, MO, three grandchildren, Alena, Robbie, and Daniella and other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Fannon Cemetery, Ava, MO with Pastor Mark Hatcher officiating. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home; Ava, MO.
