RILLA MARIE WHITE
Rilla White, 93, Gainesville, MO, passed away August 21, 2009 at the Gainesville Health Care Center. She was born September 17, 1915 in Tecumseh, MO daughter of Aide and Etta (Garrett) King.
In January of 1935 she was united in marriage to Troy White. Rilla and Troy operated the Norfork Lodge at Tecumseh, MO for many years before retiring. She enjoyed her garden and being outside, but her greatest joy was her two granddaughters who were the delight of her life.
Rilla is survived by her son Troy Junior (T.J.) White of Gainesville, MO; her granddaughter Teresa (Ricky) Dove and one great grandson Tyler Dove of Tecumseh, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Troy; two brothers Thurlo and Roy King; two sisters Eva Howerton and Bertha King; and one granddaughter Tanya White.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Mike Evans officiating. Interment will be in the Clear Springs Cemetery, Tecumseh, MO. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:30 PM to service time at the funeral home.
