Robbie Bates passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Tecumseh, Missouri. He was 27 years old. Robbie was a 1999 graduate of Gainesville High School. He leaves behind many friends and loved ones who will miss him. He is survived by his parents Dave and Mary Bates of Gainesville, Missouri; one daughter Kyna Ann-Marie Scott Bates and her mother Christina Scott of Cushing, Oklahoma; one sister Lisa Fuertes and husband Teem and their daughter Abigail of Bonifay, Florida, one brother Benjamin James Bates of Gainesville, Missouri; and grandfather Afton Friend of Gainesville, Missouri.

Funeral service for Robbie Bates will be Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 2008 @ 2:00 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville with Gale Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in Lilly Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, Directors.
