ROBERT WILLIAM BOCHERT SR.
Robert William Bochert Sr., 84, of Gainesville, MO formerly of Union, MO, passed to heaven on August 21, 2011 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center in Gainesville, MO. He was born on September 4, 1926 in Beaufort, MO, the son of Henry and Ada (Plegge) Bochert.
On November 23, 1944 Robert was united in marriage to Audrey Gerling. They spent a wonderful 57 years together prior to her passing in 2001. Robert retired after 25 years working for McGraw Hill Book Company in St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed the lake and loved the time he spent at the marina with his grandson Bryan. He also loved traveling to Colorado to visit. Robert was a Christian. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ada Bochert; and his wife Audrey. He is survived by his two sons Robert Bochert Jr. of Theodosia, MO and Lanney Bochert of Kansas City, MO; and two grandsons Bryan Bochert and Travis Bochert.
No local services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
