ROBERT D FARMER
A Graveside service for Robert D. Farmer, 83, of Gainesville, MO will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Sims Cemetery.
Mr. Farmer passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. He was born on June 20, 1929 in Lymon, OK, the son of Leonard Wesley Farmer and Edythe Katherine MacAllister.
"Dee", as he was called by his family and friends, was known for his joyous personality. He kept a smile on his face and enjoyed visiting with friends, especially Gloria Radar, Beverly Dye and Beverly Turner, whose friendships he treasured.
Dee was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Edythe Farmer; and two brothers Harrison W. Farmer and Donald F. Farmer. He is survived by his sister Nelita Hawkins of Noble, MO; one sister-in-law Sylvia Farmer of Topeka, KS; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and several dear friends.
