Robert Ford Goforth, Sr., 65 years, passed away on April 14, 2012 at Mercy Hospital.



Bob was born February 22, 1947 in Madison County, NC to Kie and Addie (Rawlings) Goforth.



On September 7, 1972 Robert and Peggy Roberts were joined in marriage, to this union six children were born.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and seeing new places. He enjoyed horses and fixing anything and everything. Most of all he enjoyed making people laugh.



Bob was preceded by his parents, a daughter, Debra Jean, a brother James, a sister Cricket and a grandson, Mathew Thomas Goforth.


Bob is survived by his family, Peggy, of Ava, his five children, Marie Graham and husband Hershel, Ava, MO, Rita Gofoth and fiance Matt Detwiler, Ava, MO, Addie Goforth and fiance, Chris Masterson, Springfield, MO, Kevin Goforth and wife Jaime, Westmoreland, KS, Bobby Goforth, Ava, MO, twelve grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
