Robert Lee Howard, 66 years, 1 months, 3 days old, passed away with his family by his side on November 16, 2016.

Robert was born October 13, 1950 in Ocie, MO to Herbert and Oma Howard.


He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in Vietnam.


Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. He was an accomplished wood worker, mechanic and a jack of all trades.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Charlotte Joanne Johnson, Thelma Genette Strong and Doris Katherine Howard, two brothers, James Dale and John Maynard Howard.

Robert is survived by his life partner, Marsha Johnson, five children, Richard Allen Howard, Billy Duane and Deb Howard, Katherine Howard, Kimberly Howard and Nicole Hays, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four sisters, Barbara and Dan Murrill, Christine and Fred Hicks, Marie and Dick Risley and Opal and Kevin McKinney, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.


Memorial services for Robert will be Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lutie Church House at the Lutie Cemetery with burial of cremains in the Lutie Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Dotson. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
