Robert "Bob" James Reinartz

Robert James Reinartz, 66 years, passed away on March 5, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO with his family by his side.

Bob was born February 2, 1947 in Long Beach, CA to Edward Theodore and Geneva Elaine (Hart) Reinartz.

He was a resident of the Ava community since 2005 moving from Anaheim, CA where he had retired from Conoco/Phillips Co as a oil refinery operator for 30 years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

Bob and Robin Anderson were united in marriage on March 21, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bob was a Catholic and a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church. His was very proactive in his faith. He enjoyed reading, keeping up with current events, history and politics.

His joy was his family and especially his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Robin Reinartz, Ava, MO, three children, Michael Reinartz, Anaheim, CA, Michelle Clark and husband, Keith, Reeds Spring, MO and Anna Gamboa and husband, Robert, Ava, MO, five grandchildren, Megan, Diesel, Duster, Larkin and Orion, two sisters, Lois and Marie and one brother, Don Reinartz all of California and other relaitives and friends.


Memorial Mass services for Bob will be Wed., March 13, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Ava, MO, with burial in the Ava Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Paul Wightman. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
