Robert "Bob" Joseph Lawson

Ava, Missouri

Bob Lawson, 64 years, 2 months, 18 days old, passed to Heaven peacefully on March 25, 2017 at his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born January 7, 1953 in Gainesville, Missouri to Arnold Edward and Geraldine "Jerry" (McDaniel) Lawson.

Bob and Bulah Mae Pearson were united in marriage on May 29, 1976 in Thornfield, MO and to this union one daughter was born.

Bob graduated from Gainesville H.S. in 1970. Bob was employed with Hutchens Industries of Mansfield for 41 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his time with his two granddaughters! He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, and uncle. Bob was kind hearted and always willing to help.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Jerry Lawson, one sister, Audean Watson, and one special nephew, Daniel Pearson.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Bulah of the home in Ava, a daughter, Badeana and husband, Randy Weddle, two granddaughters, Halyn and Kandra Weddle all of Conway, MO, his father, Arnold Lawson, Thornfield, MO, one sister, Jeanette Johnson and husband, Raymond, Ava, MO, one brother, Dennis Lawson, Ava, MO, many sisters and brothers-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Bob will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Ray Dobbs and Pastor Leonard Hart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Neighbor Helping Neighbor or American Cancer Society.
