Robert Edward Nemeth, 92 years, passed to away on June 11, 2013 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Robert was born December 2, 1920 in Sydney, OH to Joseph and Mabel (Schaufele) Nemeth.

Robert was a resident of the Ava community since 2011 moving from Oak Forest, IL. He was a retired Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and served for thirty years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served during WWII.

In 1946 Robert and Claudene Parmaley were united in marriage Chicago, IL and to this union three children were born. Claudene preceded in death in 1962. Later on, Robert married Josephine Adas in 1968 and she also preceded him in death.

Robert was a Christian. He enjoyed caring for his yard and maintaining a neat household. He also enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Claudene and his second wife, Josephine.

Robert is survived by three children, Pat Burnand & husband, Arthur, Ava, MO, James Nemeth & partner, Ken, Marblehead, MA, and Richard Nemeth, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren.


Graveside services for Robert will be Friday, June 14, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at the Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
