Robert Martin Roberts Sr.
Wasola, MO
Robert Martin Roberts Sr., 76, of Wasola, MO passed to heaven on November 9, 2011 in Wasola, MO. He was born January 17, 1935 in Whiat, TN to Walter and Beather (Currie) Roberts.
Robert and Mildred Hannah were united in marriage on July 8, 1977 in Carthage County, TX. Robert worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He also spent a lot of time on dairy farms. He loved to operate Combines. In later years, any time he drove past a Combine out in the field, he would reflect on the time he spent behind the wheel. Robert moved to Missouri over 20 years ago. He loved the outdoors. He raised chickens and ducks and enjoyed fishing. Robert was a family man and loved his grandchildren very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Lafate and Beather Ann Roberts; and seven siblings.
Robert is survived by by his wife Mildred of the home in Wasola, MO; four children Robert Roberts Jr. of Wasola, Walter Roberts of Florida, Malissa Barnett of Wasola and Richard Roberts of Georgia; four grandchildren Hannah Roberts, Roberts Roberts III, Kassandra Barnett and Thomas Barnett Jr.; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
