Robert Martin Thorsen

Robert M. Thorsen {Buster}, 73 years, passed away at home on May 17, 2024, with his wife by his side.

On August 22, 1950, Robert was born in St. Charles, Illinois to Martin and Phoebe (Brogmus) Thorsen.

Robert and Joann Pierson were united in marriage on December 26, 1971.  Together they had one son, Brian.

Robert was a retired videographer in Arizona. Previously he worked at RotorWay Aircraft in Arizona, and Klinkey Heating in St. Charles, Illinois.

Bob and Joann moved to the Ozarks from Heber, Arizona in 2020. He loved spending time working with his horses and was a member of the Ava Saddle Club.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his cherished horses and dogs.

He is survived by his wife Joann; son, Brian (Geneva) and grandson, Jack; his twin sister, Sarah (Daniel) Van Wyhe; his brothers, Marc (Denise) and Mike (Marie); and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation for Robert is being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri.
