Robert Gene Turner, 59 years, 5 months, 8 days old, passed away on May 1, 2019 at the Vera Cruz area in Ava, Missouri where he loved to camp.
Robbie was born November 23, 1959 in Kennewick, WA to Boyd Junior and Jennie Lee (Cannady) Turner. He worked and was proud of being a Derrick Man in the Oil Fields in Texas. He lived in Squires, MO for years where his family had been for generations before moving to Norwood four years ago. Robbie loved being in the outdoors playing with children and going on long walks. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, and being with his beloved Beagle!
Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Boyd, his grandparents; Rube and Roxie Turner, and Gene and Lee Cannady.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Turner of Texas, two sons, Nathan Lee Gonzales and Ruby Boyd Turner of Texas, his mother, Jennie Lee Roberson of Jacksboro, TX, three sisters, Debra Lynn Neves and husband, John, Crystal Hale and husband, Billy all of Texas, and Leann Jupina and husband, Dennis of AZ, his partner for 24 years and the mother of his children, Dianna Gonzales, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives, friends and loves.
A public visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Memorials for Robbie, the family requests donations to any conservation program to preserve natures resources.
