Graveside funeral services, with Full Military Honors, for Roger J. Shutes, 83, of Theodosia will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in the Hart Cemetery near Dugginsville, MO.  A Mass in the St Williams Catholic Church, Gainesville, MO will follow at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Mr Shutes passed away June 28, 2026 at his residence. He was born April 23, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Jack and Garnet (Younker) Shutes. On September 6, 1969, Roger was united in marriage to Joan Jamiol.

Roger is survived by his wife, Joan Shutes; daughter, Michelle Shutes; son, Eric Shutes and wife, Sharon along with grandson, Nicholas; and one sister, Jackie Luna and husband, John.
