Roger Dale Whedbee

Roger Dale Whedbee,  65 years , 10 months, and 4 days old, passed away on December 22, 2024 at Mercy hospital with his family by his side .

Roger was born February 18, 1959 in Daytona Beach, Florida to Billy Joe and Nancy June (Cox) Whedbee. He was a truck driver and also worked in construction.

Roger was a Christian and a member of the Cross Point Church in Ava, Missouri.

On April 19, 1981, Roger and Oveda Morrison were united in marriage at Daytona Beach, Florida.  He enjoyed ham and cb radios. He also liked fishing and loved boating.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Whedbee; and brother, Billy Ray Whedbee.

Roger is survived by his wife, Oveda Whedbee; his father, Billy Joe Whedbee; sister, Debra Gainey; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Roger will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 PM to service time.  Burial will be in the Arno Cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Wade Woods. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
