RONALD EUGENE WICKER
Ronald Eugene Wicker, 79, of Tecumseh, MO passed away on December 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loved ones after a long struggle with lung cancer. He was born on March 27, 1936 in Louisa, KY, one of six children born to Lawrence "Tadge" Wicker and Ethel Osborne Wicker.
On May 12, 1956, Ron was united in marriage to Marilyn Noel in Ashland, KY. Ron worked at Westinghouse for 12 years and was later educated in Boat Repairs.
He relocated his family in 1974 to Glendo, WY to work in Boat repairs at the Glendo Marina. Because of his upbringing he was able to live off the land. He could identify just about any plant or tree around him and he shared that wisdom with any and all who were interested in learning. He loved to grow lots of food in his garden to live off of through the winter as well as to share with family and friends. Ron also loved to study and share his wealth of knowledge about the Bible. He was not only able to remember just about any scripture you could ask about but he also could tell you book, chapter and verse for where it is found.
