Rose Marie Jones, daughter of George Howard Phillips Sr. and Florence C. Binner Phillips was born on Oct. 22, 1957 in Silver Creek, NY and passed away on July 1, 2007 in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 9 days.
Rose was a resident of Mansfield, MO. She was a Christian.
She enjoyed camping, doing Bible studies on television and being together with Rick and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby Joe Jones, a sister, Mary and a child.
She is survived by her seven children, her companion, Rick Eckles, Mansfield, MO, four brothers, George Phillips, Jr., Ava, MO, Larry Phillips, Mtn. Grove, MO, Donald Phillips, Ava, MO and Wallace McCarthy, Laughton, OK, two sisters, Charolette Schifferle, East Pembroke, NY and Tessie Miller, Oklahoma City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service is Tuesday, July 3, 2007, 3:00 P.M. at the Murray Cemetery with Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
