ROSE MARIE MCGINNIS
Rose Marie McGinnis, 76, of Theodosia, MO passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. Rose was born on the family farm in Theodosia on April 4, 1939 to Lonnie and Brooksie (Mahan) McGinnis.
She spent her entire life in Ozark County. She worked on various jobs until her health failed her. She loved to sing and when her father was here she and her sister would sing together. She was a member of the True Hope Baptist Church where she liked to sing her specials song.
She is survived by one sister Patsy Cheek and husband Charley of Theodosia; two sisters-in-law Pauline McGinnis of Theodosia and Beulah McGinnis of Marshfield, MO; also nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Glendale, Junior, Harold and infant Conley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the True Hope Baptist Church in Theodosia, MO with Doyle Turner and Dale Roberts officiating. Burial is in the Lutie Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
