ROSE PITCHFORD

Rose Pitchford, 62, of Tecumseh, MO passed away on August 2, 2016 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on October 8, 1953 in Kansas City, MO daughter of Everett and Joyce (Gaggens) Tye.

On June 13, 1970, Rose was united in marriage to Jack Pitchford and to this union two children were born, Ray and Jennifer. Rose was well known in Gainesville for her friendly smile that greeted customers at Town & Country Supermarket where she was employed. She loved flowers and gardening at home. She also loved to travel. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Rose is survived by her husband Jack Pitchford of the home in Tecumseh; one son Ray Pitchford; one daughter Jennifer Stage; and four grandchildren: Issac, Joshua, Kainen and Emily Stage. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Joyce Tye.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Jeff Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Brushy Knob Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from Noon till service time at the funeral home. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Brushy Knob Cemetery.
