ROSIE MAXINE DYE

Maxine Dye, 83, of Theodosia, MO formerly of Ava, passed away on December 6, 2017 at Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born August 5, 1934 in Nebo, West Virginia, the daughter of Arlie Moore and Obelia Moore.

On May 3, 1952 Maxine was united in marriage to Francis Dye. They have enjoyed over 65 years together. Maxine was a loving wife and mother to their eight children. She worked part time as a waitress and full time as a wonderful homemaker. The couple lived in Ohio before moving their family to California, where they lived for over 20 years. They moved to Missouri over 30 years ago, making their home in Ava, MO. The couple had recently moved to the Theodosia area.

Maxine is survived by her husband Francis Dye of the home in Theodosia, MO; three sons and three daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons.

No local services are planned at this time. The family will honor Maxine's wish for cremation.
