Graveside services for Rosie C. Zimmerman, 97, of Houston, TX, formerly of Pontiac, MO, will be held Friday, June 30, 2017, at 11:00 am at Price Place cemetery in Marion County, Arkansas, with Gordon Dale Rhodes officiating.

After a brief stay in a hospital in Katy, Texas, she arrived in Heaven on Sunday, June 25, 2017, after 97 years of love and laughter on this earth. She was born a twin on February 29, 1920, one of eight children to Gilbert and Lillie Dovie Crow in Princeton, Indiana.

She and Joseph W. Zimmerman were married in Vincennes, Indiana on May 15, 1937. Joe passed away February 17, 1976. Joe and Rosie moved to the Pontiac area in 1967 and Rosie moved to Texas to be near family in 1997.

Rosie is survived by her son, Richard W. Zimmerman and daughter-in-law, Karin; granddaughters Elizabeth K. Seale (Bill), Kathy L. Sanders (Kelly), Karin L. Greeson, and Kelly M. Randermann (Leon), all of Texas; six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, five step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
