Ross Neal "R.J." Ebrite, 87, Ozark, MO, formerly of Gainesville, passed away on November 15, 2010 at the Ozark Nursing and Care Center in Ozark, MO. He was born on January 6, 1923 in Gainesville, MO, the son of Dewey and Roxie (Parker) Ebrite.

On June 1, 1948 he was united in marriage to Erma Irene Simmons in Salem, AR. Irene passed away on March 11th of this year. Ross worked for many years as a printer for the Ozark County Times newspaper here in Gainesville, MO. He and his wife Irene also owned and operated an antique shop. Ross enjoyed shopping and loved to find a bargain. Ross was a Christian and member of the Seventh Day Adventist. He loved his church very much.

Ross is survived by one granddaughter Andrea Herbst and her husband Glen of Grisham, OR; two great grandsons Jordan and Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Roxie Ebrite; his wife Irene Ebrite; one son Euel Dean Stull; and one sister Betty.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Wayne St. Onge officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
