RUBY LUELLA BODYCOMB
Ruby Bodycomb, 92, Gainesville, MO, passed away October 9, 2009 at her residence. She was born on June 27, 1917 in Moundridge, KS the daughter of Leslie and Sarah (Frieson) Mullis.
Ruby lived for many years in the Mammoth, MO community with her husband Robert Bodycomb. They enjoyed the country life and spending time together. She was a long time member of the Friendly Neighbors Club while she attended the Lilly Ridge General Baptist Church. Following her husband's death, she moved into Gainesville and became a resident at the Harlin Heights Apartments. She was also employed for many years at Johnson's Clothing Store on the square in Gainesville, MO.
Mrs. Bodycomb is survived by one brother Lloyd Mullis of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, and her husband Robert Bodycomb.
A Graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Howard Ridge Cemetery with Mike Evans officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from Noon – 4:30 PM in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
