RUBY LEE HUGHES
Ruby Lee Hughes, 82, of Theodosia, MO passed away on December 1, 2012 at the Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, MO. She was born on October 4, 1930 in Muskogee County, OK, the daughter of Roy and Amy (Bass) Parsons.
On July 17, 1947 she was united in marriage to Oscar Arnold Hughes. Ruby was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was very lively and gentle-hearted. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed making things for each of them. She took great pride in everything she did. Ruby loved to make crafts and give them away as gifts. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons; and seven siblings. She is survived by her two daughters, Vernie Lona Stein and husband Paul of West Plains, MO and Patricia Hale and husband John of Oregon; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the Amy Cemetery on FF Hwy west of West Plains, MO. On line condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
