Russell Breshears, 84 years, and 1 month, passed away on July 12, 2026, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.

Russell was born June 12, 1942, in Grundy County, Tennessee to Edmon and Eva (Gifford) Breshears.

On December 30, 2003, Russell and Beatrice Lessley were united in marriage in New Mexico.

Russell and Beatrice ran a feed store in Yarnell, Arizona. Later they purchased a Pecan Tree Farm in Lordsburg, New Mexico for 17 years. They cared for over 2000 Pecan Trees.

He was a cement finisher. He owned his own company for many years.

Russell was a member of the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association, Local Union 394’s.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dancing. He also liked horses.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; three children; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; extended family and friends

Cremation services for Russell are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.
