Russell Kay Doran, 89 years,  3 months, 15 days old, passed away on March 5, 2020 at his beloved farm with his family by his side.

Russell was born November 21, 1930 in Douglas County, Mo to William Franklin and Maude May (Kay) Doran.

Russell was a U. S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. On June 14, 1992 Russell and Ellie (Fleetwood) were united in marriage at Ava. He was a Christian and attended Ava Assembly of God. Russell was a hard working farmer, milk hauler, and he enjoyed going to the sale barn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and raising cattle, rabbits, goats, and birds for his grandchildren. In later years he loved to sit outside and watch the traffic go by with his beloved friend, Sadie the beagle. Russell enjoyed spending time at McDonald's with his friends. His pride and joy was his grandkids and great grandkids. He was the best "PaPa" around!
