Ryan Lee Smith the son of Ruby Smith was born May 18, 1984 in Springfield, MO and departed this life Sept. 29, 2009 at the age of 25 years 4 months and 11 days.
Ryan was a life long resident of Ava. He was employed with Copeland as a lineman. Ryan enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, cars, traveling back roads, and spending time with family and friends.
Ryan is survived by one daughter, Thea Smith, St. Louis, MO, his mother, Ruby Smith, one brother, Shayne and Leslie Smith, his grandmother, Edna Linder, an uncle, Butch Linder, all of Ava, MO. An aunt, Delena Proctor, Mt. Grove, MO, a niece, Maddie Smith, St. Paul, MN, three nephews, Chance Smith, Dalton and Clayton Young, Ava, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO, with the Rev. Dennis Shumate and Rev. Buddy Boyd officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 7 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Brushy Knob Cemetery.
