Sam Mitchell Menard the son of Edward L. Menard and Emily (Gross) Menard was born Nov. 11, 1959 in Buffalo, New York and departed this life June 12, 2007 in Springfield, MO at the age of 47 years, 7 months and 1 day.
Sam was a resident of Kirbyville, MO for the past 2 ½ years moving from Branson, MO. Sam grew up in Cheektowaga, NY near Buffalo. He was employed as a salesman with Time Share in Florida and in Branson, MO. Sam enjoyed traveling, trapping, going to Las Vegas and walking in the park with his pet dog, Ginger. Sam loved being with his friends and family and making people laugh. Sam was a Christian.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by a son, Eric Menard, Kansas City, MO, his twin sister, Sandy Menard Matesich, Hamburg, New York, two brothers, Jim Menard and wife, Roe, of Connecticut, Larry Menard and wife, Anne of Cheektowaga, New York, several nieces and nephews, a longtime friend, Leslie Maggard and her daughter, Sarah Rose Maggard, Kirbyville, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
