Sandra Jean Carlson

Sandra Jean Carlson, daughter of Raymond C. and Lila Fay (Fitzgerald) Carlson was born on Nov. 28, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska and passed away on Feb. 4, 2008 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, MO at the age of 48 years.

Sandra was a resident of Wasola, MO for the past 3 and a half years moving from Ava area. She had also lived in CA. She had worked as a grocery store manager in CA and also worked as a caregiver with Brook Care in Ava, MO.
In 1989 Sandra met her loving partner, Thomas Coffey, Sr. in Lake Elsinore, CA and to this union two children were born.

Sandra enjoyed reading, crocheting and caring for people. She loved being with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving partner, Thomas and one brother, Jerry. Her survivors include her two children, Sarah Renee Coffey, Ava, MO and Thomas "Tommy" Coffey, Jr., Wasola, MO, four brothers, Robert, Bernard, Johnny and Jimmie Carlson all of Omaha, Nebraska, two sisters, Debra & Denise Carlson, also of Omaha, two aunts, Norma Ingram, Squires, MO and Lois Weidman, Ava, MO, uncle, Kenneth Fitzgerald, Seymour, MO, Gerald & Cindy Ingram, Squires, MO, Gene & Jo Ingram, Neola, IA, Glen & Sherry Ingram, Omaha, NE. Ernie Weidman, Ava, MO, close friends, Jerry & Carla Kaiser, Squires, MO, Scott & Denise Pippin, Squires, MO, Robbie Turner and Damon Walker, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Sandra will be 10:30 A.M, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Murray Cemetery, Squires, MO with Rev. Doyne (Butch) McCleary officiating. A Visitation will be before the service Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
