Sarah Lotz went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2007. She was 71 years old, born January 30, 1936 in Hancock County, Ohio to Howard McKinley Spence and Mary Elizabeth (Keckter) Spence. In 1983, she married Norman Gene Lotz of Malinta, Ohio, who preceded her in death on May 9, 1990.
Sarah is survived by 7 children Stephanie Simpson of Thornfield, Missouri, Kathleen Rayle of Findlay, Ohio, Richard Fleming of Gainesville, Missouri, Bree Lotz of Findlay, Ohio, Christopher Fleming of Plant City, Florida, Britt Fleming of Gainesville, Missouri and Anthony Lotz of Gainesville, Missouri. She had 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was the youngest of 10 children. She is survived by 7 siblings Thomas Spence of Arizona, Anna Spence, George Spence, Orlo Spence, Alice Stanton, Grace Lulfs, and Doris Botcher all of Ohio, plus numerous nieces and nephews
Sarah was a confirmed Lutheran, but attended Thornfield House of Prayer in Thornfield, Missouri since moving to Ozark County 2 years ago.
She worked in retail sales for many years at Wal-Mart and Salvation Army.
She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 9, 2007 2:00 PM, at Thornfield House of Prayer in Thornfield, Missouri with Stan Collins officiating. Burial at Thornfield House of Prayer Cemetery.
