SCOTT ALLEN KIRKOVER

Scott Allen Kirkover, 43, of Gainesville, MO passed away on April 13, 2014 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on August 27, 1970 in Chester, IL, the son of Gerald Dean and Ruth Ann (Mifflin) Kirkover.

Scott is survived by his wife Sandra (Kirk) Kirkover of 23 years, children Heather, John and Amanda; and grandson Jacob. Scott had numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Scott loved the simple pleasures that life had to offer. Sitting around the fire on a summer night telling jokes, and listening to his favorite tunes, Hank the third, Johnny Cash and  with all his rowdy friends and family with a cold one or heading down to the creek bank.

Scott had a passion for the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, catching a big mess of fish for the family fish fries, and hanging out with another best friend his horse Reo.

Scott was a welder and fabricator in his early years and worked at Acme Structural in Springfield Mo. He built houses in Highland Springs, in Springfield Mo.

He lived in Marshfield, Mo for the better part of 20 years but the last two years, due to health, he had moved back to the Gainesville, Mo area where he had attended the Gainesville School.

We will always cherish the time that we had with our Scotty for he was one of a kind.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Jimmy Kyle officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, April 15 ^th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family asks that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 701 Burnett Drive, Mtn. Home, AR 72653.
